Hi, I'm Rachel!
Hi! My name is Rachel Schoeff, and I'm a college student in Cleveland, Ohio. Through writing, music, and featured artwork, I aspire to share a little bit of what God is doing in my life and inspire others. We're all messy people, and we're never going to be perfect, but I hope that, together, we can all learn to embrace being "perfectly in progress."
The inspiration for this website came from the movie, "The Shack." There is a scene in which the Holy Spirit is walking with the main character around a garden, and he is shocked at how messy it looks. The Spirit explains that the garden really is best described as, "wild, wonderful, and perfectly in progress; this mess is you." I think that's a phrase that all of us, as human beings, can identify with. God is the gardener, always working in our lives and helping us to grow. Instead of focusing on how put-together we look, let's embrace the "wild" and "wonderful" of this journey.
